Each year a significant number of workers are injured or killed from a fall on the job site. Regardless of work at height frequency or duration, all workers performing duties at height must understand the proper application and use of fall protection.
This half-day course provides an overview of fall protection principles and the essential equipment and components used in a basic personal fall restraint or arrest system. The course includes challenge questions, workbook exercises and interactive instructional techniques to enhance student learning and retention.
This training program is suited for those who work at height in a specific situation with an established, approved anchor point using basic connectors and body supports.

Course Description:

In addition to the general principles of working safely at height, this one-day course also covers common fall protection systems, providing knowledge on selection, set up and usage. A variety of instructional techniques, including challenge questions, workbook exercises and practical learning applications are used so each participant fully grasps and retains this vital knowledge. The curriculum covers proper pre-use inspection, harness donning, system selection and system set up.
The course is suited for those who perform work duties at height in various at-height job site situations and are responsible for selecting and utilizing the appropriate system components.

Course Description:

With varying scenarios and protection options, it is necessary to have an experienced individual with a higher-level of knowledge and safety training.
This two-day course educates students on the various components of a worksite fall protection program, and helps develop the skills required of a Competent Person. Participants will learn course content through a combination of direct classroom instruction and multiple workshops.
Course participants are those who may be involved with a managed fall protection program including the employer, supervisor, safety personnel, workers and rescuers.
